this polaroid is from a group of 10 collages
which were some of the very first mixed media canvases that i made as i was moving from photography to painting

they are no longer relevant
and didn't pack well
so i decided to discard them
but not before i saved the 5 polaroids
that were in a row on the bottom of each canvas

as i looked at this one
i was amused to find
that all the elements in the photo
were currently on hand
in my studio
25 years later...
