this space,
the james turrell meeting room at ps1
is one of the most profound experiences for me
it is hard to describe the shifts in one's sense of light/depth/space/color as one watches the sky change through a hole in the roof.
i have only been here once before
it was the night of a memeorial service held there
the sky was very dramatic as the sun set
and it was a phenomenal experience
both visually and spiritually
tonight it was an almost perfectly clear blue sky that changed color over time
the stray cloud
and plane with it's trail
seemed like an interference
not a welcome distraction
though 2 black birds
just mere specks in the sky
were thrilling
