w9jim, technically you're right, but this morning i saw my first redwinged black bird and this evening heard the first wood frog *quack*. to me...*that's* spring! :D

We don't get much rain out here in the desert, but this year we got enough for a nice flower bloom. I grew up on the East coast and miss those long summer rains.
