and something else to recognize,
things are truly becoming more familiar
i sensed that this was beginning to happen a little while ago
(and i have been looking for the post where i first mentioned it, but haven't found it yet)
where i start seeing the subtleties of a place
and i find things that interest me because of a shift of light
or a new angle
things that are really quite ordinary
but for some reason have become special in the moment
this relationship to the world is important to me on a visual level
and on a personal level,
it means i am closer to feeling "at home"
