a studio visitor;
the studio is kind of a mix between an outdoor and an indoor space
or at least the bugs think so

i like spiders conceptually
but i sometimes sit on them
and get bit
and that results in a big angry awful reaction
that looks like something alive is below the surface of my skin
waiting to burst out,
alien-style
it lasts for weeks
and alternates between hot, sore and itchy
and then it leaves a big scarred area
that goes away after about 6 months

so i am always a little conflicted about whether to kill or live and let live
