so this was strange,
the other night there were all these quiet "pop, pops"
coming from the back,
not quite gun shots
but almost
subsequently,
this is what i have recovered
from the garden

it's been clear,
that the kids
in the church across the way
are unsupervised on saturday nights
and it seems
that their latest amusement
is shooting stuff
from some sort of air powered gun
into our yard

i would not like to get hit
by one of those pencils!!!
