i was not prepared for the extreme amount of trash,
everywhere...
i know,
it's a city beach
but
it has never been like this!

i spent a lot of time in june,
picking up plastic, balloons, bottles and other debris
from the fire island beach...
but this was a whole other level,
a lot of it was really personal:
like used condoms,
discarded tampon casings,
pacifiers,
masks (of course)
and things that defied identification...

i stuck to picking up seaweed
