and then...
g/ brought it to my attention
that baabar was very thin..
i have been so wrapped up in this election sh*t show
that i really hadn't noticed

so we took him to the vet
and he has a "mass" in his abdomen
they don't know what it is
except
of course
it's not good
he'll have an ultrasound next week
and then we probably find out if it is operable or not...

i am devastated
and i don't really have the bandwidth for this
of course
i'll find it
somewhere
