Technology, how I love thee.
| Today, I went through a little something-something called SYSTEM RECOVERY. I lost everything on my computer, two year's worth of stuff stored. I suppose I should start over, but I'm still just about the only person in the world with dial-up on a 28K modem...I think it's 28 anyway, perhaps 56...but it's all relative-- there's no salvaging. I also got the Microsoft Blaster Worm right after the unrelated error messages that made the computer go haywire...That is just uncanny, and amusing all in the same. So I'm trying to reinstall MSN 8 and download a bunch of goodies. I'm beginning to lose patience though. To sum it up...this sucks...for lack of better word. Actually, FUCK. That's more like it. Photos, music, files, porn, all gone. Here's to a better two years without reboots and unhelpful customer service representatives. Let's hope they don't have to deal with ungrateful cacas like me anymore as well. Cheers, all. |
