I'd always thought this building was ugly as sin, but that's because the city has let it rot. Turns out it's an architectual stroke of genius. The dumb Crafts Museum plans to gut the interior and rebuild the facade.

Each of the little circles is a glazed window, providing indirect light to the galleries inside. Apparently the interior is quite stunning.
