This was a little too sublime to be shot through a well-scrubbed airplane window, but I attempted nevertheless.

It's alost unbearably lonely, a sunrise at 50,000 feet when all the other passengers are asleep. The big dipper was clearly visible above the wing, though -- made me wish I had a film camera with me.
