This Is What Democracy Looks Like
It was only half a million people, but we made a fuss.
A lot of my friends say it's useless to protest -- it doesn't really change anything, and all they ever show on TV is a few people getting arrested, rather than the thousands (millions) who are peaceably assembling to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
But I don't think I could face the world if I didn't at least do something besides shut up and vote. Besides, if you think that protest is anarchy, then the fascists have already won.
I could think of worse ways to spend an afternoon.
