Perfect Day, Sunset
I don't know who decided to take down the fence around the Central Park Reservoir, or how much of our money it cost, but they deserve a big medal, and a statue in the park when they die.
Between the lake and sky; the birds, trees and buildings; and the shifting light of a late November afternoon, the northern end of the reservoir has to be one of the best locations in the city to just stand and stare, and marvel at the world around you.
