In the small things

Location: Grand Canyon, AZ

After a half day hike into the Grand Canyon, we got back to the top and while awaiting for the shuttle to pick us up, I saw this tree hidden behind some bushes. I love that one of the World Wonders lies just behind (you can see a bit of it), but it's the tree claims total attention here. Most of the time, beauty lies in the small things.

I want to go back and shoot this with slightly different framing, but I don't think I can until late March. Thanks for bringing me back here!

thanks for liking my boats: I think I was lucky, though the yachts were on the harbour road for winter storage and the angle I think is created as the outer boats are not totally in lline with the others. oh PS was at GC last year: I remeber walking to the edge and then my jaw dropped: Also it was so cold and windy!
