This was the beach at Sayulita.

We went to the Playa de los Muertos (not pictured) on the other side of the rock behind us. So called because the cemetery is right next to the beach. It was a bit more quiet than the other beach, maybe also because people went there who weren't into checking each other out, but mainly to lie in the sun and swim a little.

Some of the waves were very strong and high, and you had to dive underneath them to avoid being carried away.
