San Pancho
by filmlynx on January 30, 2006
When we got to this great beach in San Francisco (Nayarit state, Mexico) a.k.a. San Pancho, I still had B/W film from Tokyo in my Yashica B. Of course, the sun went down so quickly that by the time I had used up the roll shooting the rental horses on the beach, there was almost no sunset left.

This meant that we had to come back again (and again) with color film. San Pancho is almost nicer than neighboring Sayulita, where we had rented a round villa with a thatched palapas roof. Sayulita was full of pumped-up surfers and small hip families, although it still felt like a sleepy town.

We were there just before the Xmas crunch. San Pancho was a bit more laid back and its beach was amazing for watching the sunset while eating fish tacos and drinking Pacificos.
