Pacific whiteside dolphins, one of the most beautiful creatures on the face of the earth. To suddenly have a pod of these appear, and to realize they are breathing air just as you are, forms an instant bond, Then, to watch the sheer joy with which they seem to approach life, is a real treat. Makes you wonder if we've got the intelligence scale right.

Lookin right down their blowhole eh!
Yeah these creatures are an exciting joy to watch. I like how you describes them here.
I have only seen the white-sided a few times in all my years off the outside coast. They seem to stay offshore beyond my usual range. I was fortunate enough to finally get some pictures of them two years ago which I will post at some point.
They are so fast eh!! I clocked them at 28 knots!

sTORM #3 EH...YEAH AND THE BIG ONES ARE STILL ON THE WAY...Oh, sorry for the caps.
I am surprised you could get 30 knots from any kinda troller! I think you guys on the inside there saw whitesideds alot more. It was like humpbacks though. I was on the ocean out there for decads before I ever saw one. Now they return every year chasing pilchards and anchovy among other stuff. Reclaiming their original ranges again and I am happy about that.

Now if I find this dribble still on your page here later I know I can delete it myself!
How ya feelin?
