I took this photo in a back alley of the old Islamic quarter in Cairo
The building behind was the entrance to a mosque being restored and I was focussed about 90 degrees to my right when I saw this woman stop and turn back to see what I was photographing
before she noticed i snapped off this face, which obviously has an enormous history, from the eyes, to the scars. I am particularly proud of this shot.The photo may have its flaws, but it is of a real,very real human being
