During this morning’s break, he called my colleague carmen and me from the school PA system and asked us to promptly go to his office...........
An english parent unable to speak spanish looking for assistance, we thought............
Instead a delivery guy had brought in a parcel addressed to us...............
Medium-sized..............
Yellow and balck..............
warnings everywhere.............very fragile..................!!!.....................
Drawings of eggs printed everywhere saying this contains fresh eggs...............
Handle with care................
No addresser’s name..............
We got so excited.............
No idea what could be inside (definitely not eggs)............
We went to an empty classroom and opened it...........
Two identical parcels with different dedications printed on...........
A tea mug............
A notebook.........
A pen...............
Mine says don’t mess with your teacher........
The actual spanish words are a pun...............al profesor no se le tocan los huevos............do not touch your teacher’s eggs..........in spanish the word huevos can be used to refer to eggs but also to testicles..............i could not but roar with laughter.............
Also a little phrase that says maximo, you rock.............!!!
Carmen’s dedication gives her courage for the coming exams she has to pass in july (if covid lets it be so......!!!)
We still have no idea who this parcel comes from...............definitely from somebody who cares for us so much...........
