between the two blackboards telling the dishes you could eat at the restaurant, there hung a little metal sheet that reads 'Coffee: you can sleep when you're dead'................(i do not understand what it means)..............
back then i was not aware but this is the only sentence written in english that i could see in the village................
something similar happened in budapest............only really touristic areas had signs written in english................
you could notice that the city has not suffered yet this globalization process we are all involved in...........
good proof is that in budapest we only saw a burger king 'restaurant'.........no macdonalds, no zara, no huge franchises................
kris told us that this kind of business is confined to shopping centres.............she was afraid that this would change sooner or later....................
