this building on the left of the picture is the high school i used to go to...............

it is still a hich school................

since i left it 40 years ago i have just gone back there on one occassion..............

i had to take a b2 level french exam and the exam was set to take place there..................

i still remember the classroom where i had most of my lessons during first year...........all the walls were covered with dark wood cabinets...........non standard ceiling high...........at least in my memory........they look huge............enormous.............

inside the cabinets there were.....................

fossiles................

mounted insects...............

dried small reptiles............

and small stuffed animals.............

birds, mice, small mammals..........

until the first time i stepped into that classroom, i was not aware of how much i liked that kind of stuff...........

many of my classmates just got freaked out...............

those cabinets are all gone............when i went there for the french exam, i managed to get lost for a few minutes during recess time and went to my old classroom to check it...........it was a normal classroom..............like the ones in my high school..........same colours on the wall, on the writing board, same standard chairs and desks.............

i imagine that it is not even allowed to have that kind of stuff inside a classroom any more............

i wonder where all those specimens have ended up.........................

not many people is capable of appreciating these treasures so i picture a dumpster.............
