re: the trees
1 is covered in ivy which is killing it and makes it look ugly
1 is blocking light from getting to the garden, making it hard to grow anything
1 is planted too close to my favorite tree and is crowding it

it is going to be painful to me to cut them down
it has taken years to confront doing it
