yesterday was election day at school.............
cartagena's city hall has a program for secondary school thanks to which we get some money from them every year if we follow some steps.........
we have to write a project telling the needs of our school..........
then, each group of students suggest their own ideas about what the needs of the school are....................
then there is a pre-election in which all the ideas are put together but only four are selected (by the teachers)..............
finally, yesterday was election day................
the whole school (teachers, students, administrative workers and the canteen owner) voted for one of the ideas selected............
the students are the ones in charge of organizing this day and the election process..............a teacher monitors them, though..............that was my role this year since the teacher that normally is responsible for this is on sick leave...........
