Habitat - lived in all the Brazilian Northeast, today only in the Maranhão and Pará States
Scientific name - Aratinga garouba
Measures - 34 cm, more the tail, that is well long
Life - 50 years, more or less
Feeding - little coconuts, mangoes, papaya, jabuticaba
Reproduction - two or three eggs with 8 grams, in a well high nest.

The ararajuba is disappearing of the nature not because the hunting, but because the bushes and, mainly, the palms (tree) where it found its food are being knocked down.
