the snake candlesticks

i had these plastic doll hands
hollow like this
cut at the wrist like this
but tiny
maybe the size of a thumb
a small thumb
i painted them
&
i filled them with things
a little plastic skeleton,
a feather,
a bone,
a jewel
and they stuck out the top
like these plants
and i hung them like charms
from the candlesticks

but i couldn't find a picture
and of course they are all in storage
so i will try to find something else

i just saw this again
in the front page thumbs
and i really thought it was one of mine
but i realized that i couldn't have shot it
because it's in storage
