back to the silly lights again
these were blowing in the wind
like your flags

i don't like all the fuss and bother about this season
but it saddens me when there is no tradition
because part of us relies on that
for strength

and it makes me sad
that somehow
that isn't important this year
that things of beauty
and sharing
have turned into burdens

but it is a time to remember what is important
and share with the ones you love
and this sharing
that we have here
is so important
and it knows no seasons
or holidays
it just endures
