happy birthday to my god-daughter camilla
there is interest in a painting that is in my studio so it makes for a good excuse to switch out some of the work up at my gallery for some things down here. My dealer asked if i had any new work to bring up and i had to answer "no"! what a kick in the ass, what a wake up call, sometimes a little reality check is worth a ton of introspection.
but not to be too hard on myself; i do have small pieces for him and i have finished 3 new large pieces as well, it's just that they are part of a suite of at least 6 paintings and i feel they need to be seen in that context, not mixed in with earlier work.
