this was a drawing i did at a very young age (maybe 3) of our siamese cat alex. having also drawn alex from the back, my parents had this framed so that the alternate view is visible when you turn it around. clearly (and thankfully) my creative endeavors were fostered as a child. it's kind of a response to the yesterday's image: another kid pic.
today was one of those non-days; neither good nor bad, basically uneventful, the main purpose of which seems to be to make you look forward to tomorrow.
and happy birthday diane, another chilhood friend with whom i have also reconnected a bit who and who i had probably just met when this drawing was made.
