none of it works all the time,
and sometimes none of it works at all

i put these things in place
with blind faith
that if i am consistent
consistency will come back to me

and it does
and maybe not in the ways i think it will
but it does

and sometimes...
it takes a REALLY long tme
for it to come around

and i hated when i was told
that it might take a while

but then,
when it does come around
even years later
it doesn't seem as if it's been that long
it's just something you tried
and now it's happened
and now you are grateful
and now you have faith
to try it again
