i love her because:

as skittish as she is, she trusts enough to be completely vulnerable.

she came from the street and is tough as nails, but she needs my love.

she's learned to ask (in the tiniest voice) to be picked up.

she's very smart, i can tell her "no" in a converational tone and she listens.

she keeps me company in the studio and if i lie down, she comes over and curls up with me.

she has let me tame her; she's got a ways to go, but we are working on it together.


i love my cat oski too - but he's already got the biggest fanclub in the world. that's because he is drop-dead gorgeous, soft and sweet, a cross between a rag doll and a teddy bear, what's not to love?
