(to borrow a fotolog term) this is real friends & family, virtual to reality.
ana is luisa's daughter,
i know luisa from fotolog (and now here),
she lives in lisbon
and we exchange images many times a day,
but we've never met.
ana is in school in bristol
and is here (in ny) on vacation,
and we just met.
the beauty of it is, that while luisa and i are virtual friends my feelings about meeting her daughter who is visiting my city are identical to what they would be if we had a face to face friendship. anyone who says virtual relationships aren't "real" ...
anyway,
we had an art day:
galleries, opening, performance,
topped it off with chinatown,
it was supposed to be rainy but wasn't
what could be better than that?
