i received a comment on my flog that really made me stop and think:
"Beautiful, sad image, like your fl in general."

and i thought: "whoa, is that what my images convey, sadness?"

now i have never been a happy, happy, joy, joy kind of girl but by the same token i don't necessarily think of myself as "sad".

i guess it's tough for any of us to step back and see ourselves as others do, so when we get that glimpse, through another's eyes, it can be quite an awakening.

the fact that this is a primary emotion that has come out through my images actually allowed me to see a sadness that maybe i was hiding from myself or at least thought i had kept hidden from the world,

so i went through my files, looking for an image to post today, trying to find one that felt like me, one in which i could "recognize" myself today, but wouldn't be construed as "sad".
and i actually could only find 3;
one was too bright and breezy (literally),
another was whimsical but really just a "glance".
so here is the 3rd, which i find both graceful & humorous.
