reading what i wrote last year,
as difficult as it can still be
i have come a long way
and things are better now
or
at least they are further along

part of the problem last year was
that i knew it would take this long
to get to here
to get to the point
where i could begin finding out
who i had become

that was how long it would be
before the house was done
things were out of storage
and
put away

now i am here
and at least it's in my hands
it's a better place to be
