this sad fish facebrought to my mind i disaster that happened in our saltwater lagoon a couple of weeks ago............and which i wanted to comment on properly..................

the torrential rains that happened a month ago not only ravaged many small towns and the crop fields but also swept along acid soil, endless corpses of farm animals and, of course, chemicals used for the crops.............

because of this, the oxigen inflow into the lagoon has completely stopped in some areas and this has caused fish to die......they cannot breathe.......by tonnes............6 tonnes they say.........that means that it will be at least as twice as much...........

enviromentalists say that this is the final blow to our dearest lagoon.............and that most probably the flora and fauna will never recover.............unless we take action............NOW........

this environmental situation is really serious..........so is the political situation...........we have general elections in a fortnight (we still have no government).........so politicans are promising and promising and promising.............probably they will do nothing.............as always..............and we will lose our precious saltwater lagoon (the biggest in europe, the only one in the mediterranean) forever................
