usually i love fireworks
but
for the past 3-4 weeks
they have been going off every night
starting at around 6 pm and going until 2 or later

these are not your normal fireworks
they are extraordinarily loud
and it has been extremely disruptive

because the police have become the enemy
no one is willing to call the cops
(not that they would do any good)
it feels like being in a war zone
and it really freaks ava out
