when we designed the garden
we asked for flowers that attract pollinators (bees & butterflies)
(we didn't ask for a totally purple garden,
but that's another story)

we have had tons of bees
of all shapes and sizes
and a bunch of little white butterflies
but this is our first monarch
the first monarch in many years
