on the news this morning
coverage of yesterday's protest
somewhere upwards of 40 arrests reported on the bridge

i guess it is for the better that i didn't make it on...
my friend who did
was signaled out by a police chief
and told to get off
the only one allowed to walk free

this is the front line of protestors
they were met by a huge number of cops
approaching from the manhattan side
apparently some protestors were able to cross the barrier
into the oncoming traffic
going into brooklyn
and good samaritans gave them refuge from arrest
by letting them into their cars
