before...the street lights #3

Location: brazil

6A.M in a misty morning about one month ago, no street lamps, just by my gate porch;
a time when we could still turn off the house lights , go to the veranda and stay out there for hours on end ,just enjoying the beauty of magnificent tropical moonlights...

but this was before the 'progress' presented us with sun-like street lamps !

50 miles north of New York City, the sky is so bright to the south that it's hard to see the Milky Way any more. "Progress" has a way of removing us from our natural birthright: the stars, moon and nature in general.
