I went out last Sunday along one of my favorite roads, never expecting to see anything like those two grasshoppers. They didn't move, and I had the privilege of witnessing something intimate and beautiful. Who knows, their offspring might devour our garden next year; or perhaps a hungry bird came along after me and enjoyed a delicious breakfast!
