this farmer uses plastic sheets to keep the weeds out of his tomatoes. the onion crates are scattered around to cover the plants in case of frost. there were some unusual mornings last week where we almost had frost, but it is warming up nicely. Interesting that you have a "Sugar Loaf"because we have one too. we are so different but so much the same.
