the image is a cornfield where they harvested the corn in the fall, then seeded with alfalfa for the coming yesr. so there are two opposing patterns that caught my eye. The ground is frozen hard but the surface is muddy. I was a mess when I got home! The weather is hard to explain. We've had extreme cold, but warm spells and rain instead of snow. But there is another month of winter, so who knows what we'll get!
