~This lone horse grazed in these fields for years. I often drove by him on the adjacent road and looked forward to seeing him. I always intended to stop by for a visit and take a picture but the years went by. When I did have a camera he would be nowhere around until New Years Eve 2001. On that day I was driving my motorcycle to a beach party with my son Jesse on the back and there he was, the Kapoho Horse, as had we called him. I was thinking to my self, “Damn, nice light and no camera”. Until I remembered that I had my underwater camera stashed in my packsack. So, we stopped and took these pictures while meeting & greeting our old friend.
I am happy I have these pictures...that was the last day we ever saw the Kapoho Horse~
