Along the historic marina area in downtown san diego, i found this homeless gentleman who gave me this sort of circumspect but direct and inquiring glance...I'm almost haunted by the way he's looking at me, as if he implores me to help, but knows better than to hope for such from those with the cameras...but i'll be different.
