future home!

After Harajuku we took the train back to the youth hostel to pick up our luggage. From there we hiked up and down endless flights of stairs with our heavier than heavy luggage, and then flooded the subway with our foreign babble. When we arrived at Sangubashi eki we were greeted with more stairs, hooray! I’m surprised my luggage is still intact after dragging it all over the place. Anyway, we landed in Yoyogi Olympic Center and dreamed about swimming for half an hour while we waited for Jason to check us in (it was hottttttt). It was at that time that I saw the first bugs in Japan -- giant ants everywhere. Eventually Jason gave us the keys to our rooms, which were equipped with BEDS! ahhhh, beds. It felt soooooooo good to lie down on something softer than the ground.
HOWEVER. The girl’s bathroom smelled like blood worms. Blood worms are these teensy red worms that we feed to the shorebirds at Wildlife Rescue. Does anyone else think it smelled a little weird?

Anywaaay... then we took the train to Shinjuku for dinner and shopping. But the real point of the story is that SANGUBASHI IS SO CUTE! It is one of the many places in Japan that I want to live in. Awww, Sangubashi.
