find what you care about...1
by neene on January 10, 2006
1/10

the most important advice i was ever given about making work was from a photographer; evelyn hofer, who i assisted when i had just graduated college.

she told me to find what it was that i cared about in what i was shooting and that has been my guide both in photography and painting.

i want to say thank you to all who have expressed their love, support and concern during what is clearly a difficult moment for me. as hard as it is, i am all right and a strange circumstance actually gave me a grace period for making the decision i was facing, i believe now, i will be able to confront taking the "right" course.

so thank you for caring,
i also believe this is what binds us together.
each of us, in our own way has chosen to use this medium of photo blogging to share with others the things we find meaningful.
it is an incredible gift, both to give and to receive.

hi neene,
yes, you are right about contacting chris, and after nearly 3 minutes to change from one to another page, i've got into a blank one; but i know where to go, don't worry; i really think there is something wrong with fotola, not only my server.
even when the speed is ok, it is taking a whole eternity to get here;
i'll contact him, no doubt.
and thank you once again.
.............
think your journals are perhaps the most important contact we have here;
the way you take us through it,
how you guide us from one to another link making a whole thought
it is fantastic.
all the caring + sharing
YOU taught our whole bunch fotolae mates ( i think this is the general feeling around here )
hug you dear
hug obdada too, like him a lot.

:*

looking for what i did mail you today i came across a bunch of sketchbooks.
just gives me the will to restart somehow...find room in my table and just do it! i will when i learn to spend less time logging around and giving attention to content and to who really matters to me.
trough the years very few remained.
i get sick of the show off, well done and too much thought up imagery.

oops
