years ago i started a project called ArtPals; the idea was to create a correspondence between artists (via snail mail) exchanging images as opposed to letters. this sort of dialogue: responding to an image with an image is what got me into photoblogging. i originally joined fotolog solely to see if i could make this concept work on a large scale the way it had on a small scale with ArtPals....

In the same way that ArtPals led to photoblogging, a dialogue between my right and my left hand that i had started became the model for the neene/animus | daily bread/the other side relationship. these exchanges allow me to explore the dialogue concept by myself when there is no one around to play with.
