i went back to working with encaustic today...
it's been a really long time
but some of the new random thoughts needed it

it is a wonderful medium and
it can be extremely random

i also find it totally sensuous
from the smell of the melting beeswax to
the milky luminescence of the cooled surface
that said
given my contact with hot wax today
i am hardpressed to imagine its erotic attributes
