there are so many times
when i just can't imagine what is going on in people's minds
why they act the way they do

and i want to take the whole world
and shake it like a snow globe
and shout
"WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE"

but i go into my studio instead
and that works
because they wouldn't be able to hear me anyway
and if they can't see me
they never will

btw
this is not today's blizzard
this was new year's eve
the snowflakes were HUGE
truly as if someone up above was shaking out a down comforter
those were not snow flakes
they were big wet feathers

today was different
it snowed for 24 straight hours
and we got a record 27 inches
it was wonderful
but it wasn't pure magic
