yesterday afternoon i cut a vine from the grape arbor
it had gotten dislodged by the demolition
and was hanging across the path into the garden
at about neck height.
24 hours later it was still 'crying"
at the rate of about 1 drop every 5 seconds
after a google search on: "grape vine cut drip water"
(and yes i tasted it, it is basically water)
i found that grape vines should not be cut at this time of year
and that it could cry itself to death
this vine needs to be removed to build my studio
but still,
it pains me to see it bleeding
