i am finding tons of these in the soil
it makes me wonder why it isn't more aerated

some of them i put in my new compost pile
which i think i will fence in tomorrow

yesterday,
i also "cleaned out" my compost box
there were a lot of foreign creepy crawlies in there
i think they were inhibiting the worms
it smells wonderful now
and the worms seem much happier

(did i just write that?
the worms seem much happier?)
